Nothing Gold Can Stay

Nature's first green is gold,

Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf's a flower;

But only so an hour.
 Then leaf subsides to leaf,

So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day

Nothing gold can stay.

~ Robert Frost ~

  2. Isn't Robert Frost one of the best there ever was? I often think of the line 'her early leaf's a flower' in the spring as trees bud. Once again, the pictures are gorgeous. My marigold creation didn't work out...the old planter I was transplanting them into was too old. It fell apart:)Well, I need to brain-storm some more.

  3. Yes, there are at least two more of Robert Frost's poems I'd like to do like this with the images, but maybe my own artwork??? I think that could be interesting.

    Oh Janet ~ if you could only see all the things I've tried that haven't worked out! Oh well, keep an open eye & mind and you're sure to find something... probably when you least expect it :)

    Good luck & happy hunting!
